MSIT 3860 - Data Management for Information Technology

Digitized business processes and data analytics are essential for a modern business's performance. This course will provide insights into data management principles, visualization, data mining, and AI/machine learning.

MSIT 3999 - Capstone Practicum

At the end of the curriculum, the Capstone project will provide the comprehensive application of the complete coursework. Under the supervision of a faculty member, you will address a real challenge for an organization. Study the issues, review industry trends, research the issue, and make recommendations to the organization.

The practicum culminates in a formal written and oral presentation of the team’s work. The faculty and organization professionals will evaluate the same.

Students should take the Capstone course near the end of their graduate program (at least after two full semesters in the program). To register, students must seek permission from their academic advisor.

Which country is good to study MS in Information Technology?

USA is one of the top destinations to study MS in information technology. It is the home to top-ranked universities. The US provides extensive research opportunities, strong industry connections and high earning potential.

It has a robust job market and OPT (Optional Practical Training) options. It allows international students to work for up to 3 years.

 

Am I eligible for the program?

These are the eligibility criteria for the MSIT program in USA. The program accepts applicants with:
 

  • A 4-year bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 66% marks.

  • A 3-year bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 60% marks. The awarding University must be NAAC A or A+ (in the year 2019/2020/2021) and the applicant preferably from a Science background i.e.

  • BCA/B.SC/BIT or have substantial work experience in relevant areas.

  • English Proficiency Test Scores (IELTS or TOEFL or Duolingo or PTE). No GRE/GMAT test scores are required. Please consult your Program Advisor for more details.

Do I need to take the GRE or GMAT for the program?

No. The USP of the program is that you don't require any GRE/GMAT scores. You can submit scores if available, to showcase a strong profile. However, this is not a compulsory requirement.

 

Can I get any scholarships or financial aid options?
